Biography: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior. Lined up at left tackle, right tackle and guard for Memphis.
Positives: Nice-sized lineman with the versatility to be used at several blocking positions. Bends his knees, stays square and makes good use of angles. Quickly sets up off the snap, displays excellent movement skills and smooth if asked to pull across the line of scrimmage and block in motion. Quick out to the second level and seals linebackers from the action. Keeps his feet moving throughout the play. Jolts defenders at the point of attack with good punch and really gets after assignments. Shows the ability to slide in space.
Negatives: Gets lazy with his hands on occasion. Has average strength at the point of attack and is a marginal run blocker.
Analysis: Leary possesses next-level size and has been productive and durable on the college level. He'll offer potential for both offensive guard spots and would be attractive to a zone blocking system. He's a solid developmental prospect with a nice upside.
