Positives: Disruptive small school pass rusher who projects to outside linebacker in the NFL. Plays with good lean, forceful up the field and splits double-team blocks to get behind the line of scrimmage. Quickly changes direction and displays the ability to move in every direction of the field. Possesses an array of moves getting off blocks, keeping his feet and hands active throughout the action. Bends off the edge and easily exploits blockers on the small school level.
Negatives: Rarely used off the line scrimmage or asked to drop in space. Possesses more of a short-area burst of speed that he cannot sustain. Slow disengaging from blocks once opponents gets their hands on him.
Analysis: Davis was a menacing defender who consistently disrupted the opponents game plan for Bethune-Cookman. He lacks great speed for the next level yet should be effective as a situational pass rusher out of a three-point stance or standing over tackle.
