PLAYERS
Biography: Two-year starter who finished his senior season with career-best numbers of 38 receptions/375 yards/3 TDs. Junior totals included
12/142.
Positives: Relatively athletic pass-catching tight end who can also lineup as an H-back or fullback. Displays a large degree of quickness in his game, immediately gets out into pass routes and easily adjusts to the errant throw. Solid pass catcher who keeps his focus and concentration. Effectively makes the reception in stride or adjusts backwards to grab errant throws. Shows the ability to make some incredibly acrobatic receptions and displays good eye/hand coordination. Occasionally lined up in the backfield in short-yardage situations. Gives effort as a position blocker, stays square and turns defenders from the action. Known as a high character prospect and solid person off the field. Negatives: Does not possess naturally soft hands and does a lot of unnecessary double catching. Lacks functional football strength as a blocker. Not a downfield threat. Analysis: Igwenagu has shown progress the past three seasons and continues to improve on the football field. He lacks size and has growth limitations, but he will do well in a system that keeps him in motion or occasionally lines him up in the backfield. Projection: 6th
