Biography: Four-year starter who lined up at both guard and right tackle.
Positives: Big, strong offensive lineman who's watched his game fall on hard times recently. Displays a good degree of quickness, works to stays square and keeps the defender in front of him. Jolts defenders with good hand punch, keeps his feet moving throughout the action and displays solid strength at the initial point of attack. Controls opponents once engaged in a block, turns them off the line and shows skill as a run blocker. Fights hard throughout the action.
Negatives: Best in a small area, lacks footwork in space and cannot slide laterally. Struggles handling quick or speedy opponents. Not a natural knee bender. Not light on his feet and rumbles about the field. Narrow-based blocker who lacks balance.
Analysis: Early in his Colorado career Miller looked like a future star as he consistently dominated opponents. He struggled the past two seasons and was out of place in Colorado's motion offense last year. Miller is worth the gamble of late-round choice based on his size and the skill he showed early in college.
