Positives: Quick, sure-handed college receiver who's decided to pursue a career in major league baseball. Flexible, nimble and adjusts to make the difficult reception. Keeps the play in bounds running after the catch trying to pick up as many yards as possible. Displays strong hands, terrific focus and makes the reception away from his frame. Fast moving laterally and easily makes the reception in stride.
Negatives: Not a strong or sturdy pass catcher. Lacks deep speed.
Analysis: Easterling was a reliable receiver at Florida State and possesses the skills to be a fourth receiver at the next level. NFL career is now on hold.
