Biography: Two-year starter who finished with 49 tackles/5.5 sacks/9 tackles for loss as a senior after posting junior totals of 33/2.5/5.5.
Positives: Productive college lineman with marginal size/speed numbers for the next level. Looks athletic on the field, plays with good pad level and gets leverage on opponents. Immediately gets his hands into defenders, fluid changing direction and effectively makes plays in space when dropped off the line of scrimmage. Flows well to the action, displays good movement skills and chases the action in backside pursuit.
Negatives: Undersized and pushed off the line of scrimmage on running downs. Easily handled at the point of attack or engulfed by opponents. Average pursuit speed.
Analysis: Turner was a hardworking college defender, but he lacks great measurables for the NFL. He may be best standing up over tackle in a 34 alignment, but must perform on special teams to make a final roster.
