PLAYERS
Biography: Two-year starter at left tackle.
Positives: Undersized college left tackle who projects to guard in a zone blocking system. Moves well on his feet, fluid if asked to pull across the line of scrimmage and displays skill blocking in motion. Quickly sets up in pass protection, sets with a wide base and bends his knees. Keeps his feet moving, slides well laterally and does a terrific job protecting the quarterback. Negatives: Marginal run blocker who rarely gets movement. Struggles to stays square and gets turned by defenders. Lacks dominant lower body strength. Analysis: Barham was a solid college left tackle and is more athletic than his measurables would lend one to believe. He has the ability to develop into a backup at the next level and would be best in a zone blocking system. Projection: FA |
