Biography: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors since his sophomore season. Starter at both left tackle and guard for Miami.
Positives: Underrated blocker with the ability to line up at several positions on the offensive line. Sets with a wide base, bends his knees and possesses better than average movement skills. Plays with terrific quickness, keeps his feet moving throughout the action and displays power and strength. Stays square, keeps his feet moving and turns defenders off the line run blocking. Works well with teammates and plays with good awareness. Easily out-positions defenders from the action. Displays skill on the second level. Negatives: Lazy with his hands and at times late getting them into defenders. Does not block with the killer mentality. Must improve the consistency of his playing balance. Analysis: Brooks has been a terrific college lineman since his freshman season, displaying a lot of skill and the versatility to adapt to several positions.
