Biography: Part-time starter the past two seasons after starting 12 games as a sophomore. Senior totals included 9 receptions/101 yards/4 touchdowns after he had 9/125 as a junior. Career-best numbers of 13/198/4 came during his sophomore campaign.
Positives: Strong blocking tight end with potential as a No. 3 at the next level. Blocks with good lean, gets leverage on opponents and stays square. Keeps defenders in front of him, gives effort and controls opponents at the point of attack. Fluid releasing off the line into pass routes and nicely adjusts to the errant throw. Displays solid eye/hand coordination and shows toughness running after the catch.
Negatives: Overall game lacks quickness and speed. Only effective a few yards from the line of scrimmage as a receiver.
Analysis: White is a marginal athlete who's been minimally productive on the college level, but offers possibilities as a blocking tight end in the NFL.
