Positives: Strong-legged kicker with an inconsistent game. Displays the ability to handle the bad snap, possesses a fluid punting motion and gets terrific hang time on punts. Can directional kick when called upon. Gives coverage units enough time to get downfield and make the play.
Negatives: Struggles when he must quickly get the ball off his foot. Takes a while to get the punt away. Inconsistent and all too often has bad punts which come off the side of his foot.
Analysis: Powell offers enough leg strength to play in the NFL yet must improve his consistency and become more technically sound.
