Biography: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a junior. Senior totals included 70 receptions/828 yards /6 TDs after posting career-best totals of 72/1066/12 the prior year. Sophomore numbers included 41/568/7.
Positives: Tall, strong possession receiver coming off a disappointing campaign. Sells pass routes, stays low exiting breaks and uses his large frame to post up against defenders and shield them from the action. Strong, physical and wins out in battles. Comes back to the ball out of breaks and works to make himself an available target. Gets up in a crowd to make the tough catch and comes away with the ball even with defenders draped on him. Adjusts to make difficult catches. Solid downfield blocker and gives effort.
Negatives: Lacks a quick release off the line of scrimmage. Not a smooth route runner. Lacks a burst in his game and the ability to beat defenders downfield. Does not display a great sense of timing. Does not possess naturally soft hands.
Analysis: Fuller was highly rated after his 2010 season, but his stock fell after a disappointing senior year. He's a big receiver who's proven to be a terrific red zone target and reliable third-down pass catcher. Fuller possesses the skills to develop into a number two wideout on the NFL level but must get his game back on track to where he left off as a junior.
