Sophomore totals included 1113 yards rushing and five touchdowns.

Positives: Talented interior ballcarrier with a solid game. Displays good running vision, quickly finds the open lanes and effectively uses blocks everywhere on the field. Quick-footed in a small area, makes defenders miss and will pick his way through the trash to gain positive yardage. Keeps the play in bounds, aggressively lays his shoulders into defenders and picks up the tough yardage. Displays a straight-line burst of speed and gets a lot of momentum going. Solid pass catcher out of the backfield who makes the reception with his hands. Shows the ability to get downfield as a receiver.

Negatives: Possesses just an average burst through the hole. Not an elusive or creative back who creates yardage. Gives poor attempts blocking and gets poor results. Reportedly has personality issues that do not sit well with many teams.

Analysis: Polk possesses the ability to start at the next level as a featured ballcarrier if he focuses on his game and continues to approve improve, forgetting about outside distractions.
