Biography: Two-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior. Totals last season included 197 attempts/1020 yards/13 TDs on
the ground with 24 receptions/245 yards/3 TDs as a pass catcher. Junior numbers included rushing totals of 280/1559/15 with
25/433/4 receiving.
Positives: Patient and quick-footed ballcarrier with the ability to create yardage. Displays running vision, finds the cutback lanes and immediately gets through them. Loses little momentum changing direction, has a burst of speed and effectively uses blocks everywhere on the field. Makes defenders miss and has the ability to bounce around defenders or piles. Keeps his feet moving on contact and keeps the play inbounds. Negatives: At times does too much East/West running rather than taking the ball up the field. Marginal strength and doesn?t pick up yardage off initial contact. Minimal burst of speed. Analysis: McNorton Jr was productive on the college level and is a well-rounded back who could find a home as a situational ballcarrier in the NFL if he produces on special teams. Projection: FA
