PLAYERS
Biography: Three-year starter at left tackle awarded all-conference honors since his freshman season and named to several All-American
teams last year.
Positives: Athletic offensive tackle prospect with a large upside. Stays square, blocks with good knee bend and keeps the opponent in front of him. Gets leverage on opponents, keeps his feet moving and has better than average skill sliding off the edge. Displays a good degree of quickness in his game, immediately gets out to the second level and shows skill blocking in motion. Strong, turns defenders off the line or anchors in pass protection. Fights hard throughout the play and works to bury opponents. Negatives: Inconsistent in his overall game. Does not make good use of blocking angles. Gives up the edge to pass rushers. Analysis: Martin was a terrific tackle for Stanford and is an athletic prospect who's displayed development over the past three years. He comes with a high upside yet will need work before he's ready to step into a starting lineup and produce consistently on the NFL level. Projection: 1-2 ![]() Ric Tapia/Icon SMI
