PLAYERS
Biography: Two-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior after leading Louisville in all tackling categories with 98 tackles/16
tackles for loss/4.5 sacks. Intercepted three passes and broke up another one last season. Junior totals included 48/4.5/2.
Positives: Tough, hardworking defender with a developing game. Fluid moving in every direction of the field, smooth when he must alter his angle of attack and plays faster than his 40 time. Keeps his head on a swivel and plays heads-up football. Gets depth on pass drops and displays adequate speed moving laterally. Negatives: Must do a better job using his hands to protect himself. Marginal size/speed numbers for the next level. Analysis: Heyman was a terrific college defender and developed a complete game last season. He has a special teams mentality and could make a roster as an eighth linebacker if he excels on coverage units. Projection: FA |
