Positives: Small, speedy skill player who is dangerous in the open field. Patient ballcarrier who quickly finds the running lanes and immediately cuts back against the grain to pick up positive yardage. Runs low to the ground, makes defenders miss and possesses the speed and agility to turn the corner. Keeps the play inbounds and gives effort trying to pick up as much yardage as possible. Picks up blocking assignments and squares into opponents.
Negatives: Easily brought down on initial contact by the first defender. More of a situational player who cannot take a pounding.
Analysis: Rodgers is a third-down back/return specialist/pass catcher who must produce in a variety of ways in camp this summer to have any chance of sticking on a final roster.
