Positives: Small, but explosive game-breaking receiver who displays a variety of pass-catching skills. Quickly releases off the line, immediately gets to top speed and possesses a terrific burst. Has a second gear, switches it on in a single step and stretches the defense. Solid route runner who stays low exiting breaks and comes back to the ball. Extends his hands to make the reception away from his frame and uses his frame to protect the pass. Will extend and exposes himself to the big hit in order to come away with the reception. Gets up in a crowd in battles to make the catch. Easily adjusts to errant passes. Elusive handling the ball, makes defenders miss and is dangerous in the open field.
Negatives: Lacks size and loses out in battles. Drops some catchable throws on occasion.
Analysis: Wright is a legitimate deep threat with home-run hitting speed and the ability to make catches underneath. He is limited by size, but has the potential to be a lethal slot receiver if he learns to does the little things well and continues to improve his game.
