Positives: Explosive slot receiver who impacts the game returning punts and kicks. Quickly releases off the line into pass routes, displays a sense of timing and has the ability to easily adjusts to the errant throw. Follows his quarterbacks across the field and comes back to the ball to make himself an available target. Plays heads-up football, consistently makes the reception with his hands and keeps the play inbounds running after the catch. Shows a tremendous amount of quickness in his game. Gets vertical and adjusts in midair to make the reception. Smooth receiver. Displays good instincts and football awareness. Gives effort blocking.
Negatives: Does not display great top end speed on the field despite his numbers. Injuries are likely to cause red flags.
Analysis: When healthy and at the top of his game Hilton possesses all the skills to be a productive slot receiver and game breaking return specialist at the next level. He's a prospect who does the little things well and will have a long NFL career if he's able to stay healthy.
