PLAYERS
Biography: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors since his sophomore season and named to several All-American teams the past
two years. Senior totals included 51 receptions/606 yards/8 TDs after he had 44/794/7 the prior year.
Positives: Pass-catching tight end who looks more like a large possession receiver on the field. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, immediately gets to top speed and uses his large frame and strength as an advantage to out muscle defenders. Gets vertical, adjusts in midair and highpoints the throw. Comes across the middle, adjusts to make the reception in stride and looks the ball into his hands. Consistently makes the tough catch in traffic. Moves well in every direction of the field. Plays with good body control. Bends his knees, blocks with leverage and stays square. Negatives: Has marginal blocking strength and struggles controlling opposing linebackers. Not a true downfield threat. Analysis: Green watched his game takeoff the past two seasons and has been one of the better big-play tight ends in the nation. He's a solid pass catcher with consistent hands and the frame to get stronger in time. Green will be effective as a move tight end at the next level in a system that constantly puts him in motion before the snap. Projection: 4th
