Positives: Quick, flowing linebacker who covers a lot of area on the field. Goes hard sideline to sideline, gives effort and shows a good head for the ball. Stays with the action, uses his hands well to protect himself and explosive at the point of attack. Breaks down well, fluid changing direction and remains disciplined with assignments. Does not bite on play-action passes, gets depth on pass drops and displays adequate skill in coverage. Instinctive and shows a burst to the action.
Negatives: Undersized and can be overwhelmed by blockers. More of a drag-down tackler who struggles bringing ballcarriers down at the point of attack.
Analysis: Rask was a productive linebacker on the small school level and is best in pursuit He has size limitations yet offers possibilities as a backup one-gap linebacker and brings a special teams mentality with him.
