Biography: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior after totaling 33 tackles/8 tackles for loss/1 sacks. Junior totals included 41/6.5/2.

Positives: Massive lineman with outstanding movement skills. Relatively quick off the snap, plays with good pad level and easily holds the point. Stays on his feet, gets off blocks and is a smooth athlete who displays the ability to make plays in space. Easily moves up and down the line of scrimmage or gets out to the flanks chasing the action. Effortlessly changes direction and plays with a lot of quickness. Constantly doubled or focused on by opponents in the middle of the line.

Negatives: Despite his size, is not an overpowering lineman and lacks dominant strength for a big man. At times, he gets knocked off the ball or easily ridden from his angle of attack by a single blocker.

Analysis: Poe is a tremendous combination of size, athleticism and movement skills. He offers a huge amount of upside but needs to get stronger and show the power expected from a 340-pound defender. He offers possibilities at a number of defensive line positions in a variety of schemes at the next level and can be a dominant force if he continues to improve and plays to his potential.
