PLAYERS
Biography: Junior college transfer who started the past three seasons for Baylor at both center and right tackle. All-conference selection
as a senior.
Positives: Wide-bodied offensive lineman who is effective blocking in motion. Stays square, keeps defenders in front of him and sets with a wide base. Displays good blocking vision, works his hands throughout the action and can adjust to defenders, then turn opponents from the action. Keeps his feet moving, quick out to the second level and gets a pad on linebackers to remove them from the play. Solid with shotgun snaps. Negatives: Despite his size, he?s not a dominant lineman who gets a lot of movement run blocking. Average footwork in space. Analysis: Blake was durable and showed a lot of versatility in his game the past three seasons. He has the skills to develop into a starter at the next level and offers possibilities at both guard and center. Blake must improve his run blocking strength, but comes with upside. Projection: 6th
