Positives: Athletic defensive end with nice size who flashed skill the past two years. Plays with good lean, fires off the snap with a terrific first step and displays quickness in his game. Moves well in every direction of the field, fast off the edge and gets out to the sidelines in pursuit of the action. Fluid changing direction, plays with good pad level and uses his hands to protect himself.
Negatives: Easily locked up at the point of attack by a single blocker. Can be a liability defending the run. On the ground too much. Has multiple off the field issues and characterized as immature.
Analysis: Paige-Moss displayed a lot of skill throughout his sophomore season yet watched his game take a step back last year. He possesses the underlying ability to line up at defensive end in a four-man front yet must now overcome a knee injury and poor play last season.
