Morten Andersen's missed 30-yard field goal attempt in the closing seconds of the Falcons' 1996 regular-season finale was significant for three reasons: It cost Atlanta a win, sent Jacksonville into the playoffs and ended Andersen's NFL-record streak of 62 consecutive field goals from 30 yards or closer.
