Vonnie Holliday

1st round, 19th overall
Defensive tackle, North Carolina
Comments: Packers were moving up for defensive tackle Jason Peter, and thought Holliday would be off the board. Will see some playing time as rookie, but doubt he can start with Santana Dotson and Gilbert Brown on roster ... impressed with his strength and push in mini-camp -- could line up at end?

Jonathan Brown

3rd round, 90th overall
Defensive end, Tennessee
Comments: Brown is a solid pass rush guy, who may be counted on to start as a rookie. Was up and down last season, but really came to play in big games, which should be a plus for Packers.

Roosevelt Blackmon

4th round, 121st overall
Cornerback, Morris Brown
Comments: It's been a long, hard road for Blackmon to the NFL. Loss of free-agent cornerback Doug Evans could throw him into their nickel package as the 3rd cornerback. Still a little rough around the edges.

Corey Bradford

5th round, 150th overall
Receiver, Jackson State
Comments: Could be a sleeper here. Bradford has excellent size and good speed. If he adds some strength before the season, he could unseat underachieving Derrick Mayes as their third receiver.

Scott McGarrahan

6th round, 156th overall
Safety, New Mexico
Comments: Several teams liked this guy in the late rounds and he fills the need for aging Packer secondary ... almost a nickel linebacker-type in college and used a lot in blitz packages ... better hitter than cover guy that has enough athletic ability and speed to develop ... should be excellent early on special teams as he eases into nickel and dime packages.

Matt Hasselback

6th round, 187th overall
Quarterback, Boston College
Comments: Good-sized quarterback with decent overall skills. Not a great college career, but he moves around pretty well and plays with some intelligence. Needs to improve his reads and decisions, but if he has a good camp, he could stick as the No. 3 QB.

Edwin Watson

7th round, 218th overall
Fullback, Purdue
Comments: Was the featured back in college, but may play fullback here. Will likely backup starter William Henderson. He makes plays, and should find a role in the offense. Solid special-teams guy.
