Summary

This is a player that came into the 1997 season with no fanfare and very little NFL potential, but he has really emerged as a NFL prospect...had an outstanding senior year in 1997 and new head coach Joe Tiller’s wide-open pro-style offense, catching 59 passes for 1167 yds. and 9 TDs...he is an outstanding high school track & field speedster and does have natural speed, as evidenced by a strong combine workout...has struggled academically at Purdue but has managed to stay eligible...he has really shown improvement under Tellar and has become more of a natural receiver than a speed guy...he runs good routes and has good quickness and explosion in and out of his routes and he still has the ability to get deep that he has always possessed...he is exc in the open field and will come over the middle and make the tough catch in traffic...he has really improved his catching consistancy and in the past he seemed to drop alotof catchable balls and while he still not perfect in that area, he has really improved in his hands which certainly be considered in the acceptable category...he is a guy that really seems to be movin gup the draft charts and if 1997 season is any indication, he will get better in NFL training camp...has enough speed and AA to develop into at least a number three WR in the NFL or possibly better.
