| Summary
Has had a little bit on an up and down career. Played a lot as a freshman, started as a sophomore, had a sub-par junior year due to injuries, and came back and started as a senior and wound up being and All Big 10 player. He is a short area mauler and brawler type player that has good lock on qualities and handles himself well at the POA. He has been well coached and tends to get good position and doesn't make many mistakes. He is a very efficient and intelligent play and shows good instincts. He tends to play a little high and straight legged at times and doesn't always play as strong as his numbers would indicate. He has fairly good speed and movement, but is not really a naturally explosive player. His VJ at Indy of 26" may be an indication that he needs to improve his lower body explosion, however, he is similar to a lot of NFL OGs and the fact that he is not a great athlete, but a competitive tough player that excels in short area "in fighting." With most NFL teams playing 4-3 defenses, he is a perfect candidate for an NFL OG.
