| Summary
Has played OLB & MLB for the Cardinals and finished the ‘97 season with 155 tackles, 10 TFLs and 1 INT. He is probably better suited at MLB and he combines good size and AA with decent overall speed. He is a high effort guy that will slide to the ball and seems to have good overall skills vs. inside run. A little more of a guy that runs around blocks to make a play than stuff at the POA... somewhat of a drag down type tackler and although he makes alot of tackles, he doesn’t necessarily dominate vs. inside run. He has good range to get outside and is pretty fluid in space and can break down in the open field. He is not a natural pass defense guy and will need some work in drops and a feel for zones. He is a player that doesn’t quite play up to his stats and isn’t particularly exciting in any area. For all of his production, you would expect him to be a very instinctive and aware guy, but he doesn’t necessarily look like that on film. He is however, another MLB with enough AA and production and also the versatility to possibly move to OLB that he will be an interesting guy on draft day.
