Summary

All-Pac 10 in 1996 and 1997...finished the 1997 season with 75 catches for 1093 and 10 TDs...This is an outstanding college receiver with great production that simply cannot run...he is truly quicker than fast but he is a guy with great COD and explosion...his SS of 3.78 at the combine is outstanding and should indicate how quick he is...he was an outstanding high school athlete in both basketball and football...and he has a great feel for the passing game...he catches everything in sight...he is a go-to guy in Cal’s offense and he loves to have the ball in key situations and has made a lot of big plays...he is very knowledgable in his ability to run routes and he reads coverages as well as any guy coming out of college...because of his lack of speed, he sometimes struggles in m/m coverage, but he is exc in finding holes and creases in zones...he does a good job turning up field after for the catch...and he will definitely catch in a crowd and hold onto the ball...his lack of deep speed and a burst are his biggest set backs...he can fit into an NFL scheme as a No.3 WR that could work the inside seams in nickle situations, but he may never be a prime-time guy because of his inability to go deep...however this is a good football player that should not be counted out.
