| Summary
Did not work out at the Indy combine which did not make alot of people happy... three starter at Georgia Tech and finished the ‘97 season with 115 tackles, He is a very instinctive guy that makes alot of plays because of awareness and jump on the ball... a student of the game and seems to be the heart and soul of this defense although Brookings gets all the publicity. Plays better than his AA & size would indicate... not a very tall or rangy MLB... does an excellent job vs. the inside run and always takes great angles to the ball... plays under control in open field and although he does not have alot of natural range, he is very efficient and there is no wasted motion and he makes more outside plays than one would think. He is not very pretty or athletic in his pass drops and that is not really his game, but he works to at least be adequate. This is a guy that is an overachiever that lacks great natural skills, but he is so productive and smart on the football field that he should find a spot as a STs performer and backup MLB. This is a kind of guy that you want to have on your roster.
