Started his career as a DS but moved OLB as a sophomore and has started ever since. Had his best year in 1997 compiling 168 tackles, 13 TSL's and 3 sacks. Is also a good enough athete to play on Cincinnatti's basketball team. He is really an interesting guy, although he is undersized for an OLB. He really has great movement skills and shows alot of range and fluidity in the open field. He is strictly a space player that can almost fit into a nickle OLB type role. He has natural cover skills and enough AA to really improve in this area both in M to M and zone coverage. He has the knack for making plays and although he must slip blocks and get through the trash, he is a very effective open field tackler and is around the ball alot. He is a very intriguing candidate as a nickle OLB and special teams performer and he might develop into a starter on the open side if he could get a little bigger and more physical.
