| Summary
Has been a very productive player for Stanford in his career and has moved around from DF to DE to OLB. Three year starter finishing the 1997 season with 81 tackles, 8 TFL's and 2 sacks. He also has an excellent baseball background and played for the Cardinals earlier in his career. He is an outstanding athlete for the position and he runs well, but he lacks true NFL size. His lack of height will bother some NFL teams and he is obviously a guy that has to play in space and cannot line up effectively over a TE or battle successfully inside. He can be engulfed by blockers and he must be in a position to slip blocks and take proper angles to the ball. He does have excellent range and is a sideline to sideline guy that will make alot of plays in the open field. He is a solid tackler and although he is not a real physical player, he is very efficient. He is probably not quite athletic enough to play DS, but he does have a chance to be a nickle OLB and special teams contributor, and his intelligence and feel for the game give him a chance to stick on an NFL roster.
