| Summary
He really truned some heads with a nice Indy workout that was highlighted by 37” BJ and BJ of 10’4”... has had some serious back problems in his history, but has played the last two years with no recurrances. Three year starter for SMU and finished ‘97 with a 120 tackles... highly motivated and competitve player...great effort guy... uses his AA to get outside and make alot of plays... will attack vs. inside runand not afraid to mix it up... does nice job of taking on blockers and shedding at the POA... solid inside tackler and takes good angles to the ball... has enough speed & AA to get outside and does a good job of getting over the trash and will make some open field plays. Another MLB that isn’t very natural in his pass defense, more of an upfield guy that struggles somewhat in coverage and doesn’t look as athletic as his numbers indicate when he is dropping. COD is only on the adequate side, but he fights through it. He is a guy that makes alot of plays and although he does not play up to his numbers athletically, he is certainly good enough in that area to be a draft consideration. He is somewhat of a sleeper in this group, but there is alot to like about this guy both on and off the field and he should be a contributer as a STs performer and MLB.
