Summary

This is a good big back that is quicker than fast as evidenced by his INDY workout where he ran in the 4.75 range in the 40 and had an amazing 3.98 SS and also and outstanding VJ of 35 inches while posting a BP of 19...he would be something special if he had break away speed but he does not...he finished 1997 with 904 yds and 8 TDs while catching 36 passes...he has played alot in his career and has good overall production...he has some niftiness for big man and although he is a weaver type runner, he can make the first man miss and he has good quickness to the hole...he follows his blocks well and appears to have good overall run instincts and has nice balance with feet and will fall forward...he runs hard and doesn’t mind mixing it up inside...he is not magical in the open field and he struggles to put together more than one move...although he is adequate in the passing game, he will need some refinement but he will never be overally nifty in the open field...he is some what a tweener and does not quite block or run with the power of a true FB and he lacks the niftiness and speed of a RB although he does play a little faster than his times indicate...this is a pretty good football player and an NFL team can live with his lack of speed, he could develop into a solid back up player...his AA numbers are certianly intriguing.
