| Summary
He has come out of nowhere to be an interesting NFL prospect. He is a one year starter at Clemson, but has a lot of playing time in his background. He finished 1997 with 51 tackles, 13 TFLs and 6 sacks. He is a guy that has true NFL size and he looks like a prototype 4-3 DE. He has good overall AA and runs well for his size. He has a nice outside pass rush and the ability to chase down backside plays. He plays with a natural lean and has good initial quickness off the ball. He is not as natural playing the run and gets overpowered at the POA and is not a real strong or explosive player. He is much better in space and is not close to a two gap type guy. He needs time to develop as a pass rusher and he must improve his techniques and moves, but that could easily be due to his lack of experience. He will never be a great run stuffer on the NFL level, but if he shows good improvement, he could easily develop into a nice outside pass rusher.
