| Summary
He has had an up and down career in terms of production and 1997 has been his only full year of starting at FB when he rushed for 380 yards and 1 TD, but did have 20 receptions out of the backfield. He has actually shown some niftiness as a receiver out of the backfield (a little bit like Arizona Cardinal's Larry Centers) and he has fairly good run ability in the open field. He catches the ball naturally and runs hard after the catch. He is not a very explosive or powerfull blocker, but he is willing and will throw his body around. He does not have great run skills at this stage and has been somewhat limited as a short yardage inside type runner. He is a little bit of a tweener and is not quite what NFL teams are looking for in a true FB and not nifty enough to play RB. However, his pass catching abiltiy may fit him in a role on an NFL team and if he can play special teams, he may be able to stick.
