Summary

Basically a two year starter for the Cougars after an outstanding JC career...finished the 1997 season with 1157 yds. and 11 TDs and caught 15 passes for 1 TD in WSU’s outstanding pro-style offense...this is a guy that has a lot of problems in his back ground that seems to be leveling out...he was convicted of car theft and armed robbery as a teenager and has spent some hard time in jail...he has basically stayed out of trouble at WSU and unless new problems surface, he may be past his problems as far as NFL teams are concerned...on the football field he has good overall run skills...he has good initial quickness through the hole and shows a short burst...he has some elusiveness in the open field and plays with good vision and COD...he is a darter type runner that can make some things happen in the open field...although he lacks great size, he runs with good toughness and leverage and will fight to finish play but he is not a natural power runner...but he is aggressive as a ball carrier...he catches the ball farily well out of the back field altough was not unitlized much in WSU pass offense...but this is an area that he can probably improve...he is a good college football player that doesn’t flash in any particular area, but he is very productive and efficient and may be somewhat underated...if he gets the character issue on NFL boards he could be an excellent mid-round pick with a little bit of an upside.
