Summary

Did not have a particularly great INDY workout with only a 27 inch VJ which is somewhat alarming for a RB...some people project him as more of an FB type but he really lacks the size...he is a tough and hard nose guy that led Michigan’s rushing attack in 1997 with 868 yds. and 7 TDs, while catching a surprisingly high 35 passes for a TD...he also did a nice job in the Hula Bowl and caught the eyes of scouts and coaches in Hawaii...he is not a very nifty type guy but he is very efficient and competitive as you would expect a Michigan RB to be...he hits the holes with good authority and adequate quickness and he shows a little short burst...he runs with good leverage and power for his size and he does not mind mixing it up with inside defenders...he has a little more vision than open field skills than you might think and he shows some ability to make the first defender miss...he is not a break-away threat and he cannot put alot of moves together and you certainly would not call him elusive in space...he catches the ball well out of the back field and can be very efficient in the passing game...he is the type of RB that gives you and honest days work and is very dependable...he probably fits as a back up RB on the NFL level that can contribute on special teams.
