| Summary
It has been well documented that he was a highly successful player on his way to a big time career at MIami before he was abruptly halted with all sorts of problems...his 1996 season was cut short with a serious knee injury that required surgery and while he was rehabbing, he was also suspended for beating-up a Hurricane track athlete and he was also charged for assault and burglary...he missed the 1997 season because of allegations of dealings with an agent...he wound up spending the season as a student coach and by all accounts he has matured and realizes his past mistakes and is starting to get his life in order...he was effective in 1994 and 1995 and his last season of any production (1995), he caught 41 passes for 730 yds. and 3 TDs...although it’s been awhile since he played, he is an exc athlete that can run and jump and can really flash at times as a WR...he has a good understanding of the passing game and will make the circus catch and has good consentration on the ball...he is an exc leaper and shows good explosion...although he has flashed the ability to get deep, his 40 times at INDY do not indicate the same type of speed... if he has any faults as a football player, it might be a little inconsistancy catching the ball...as a young player, his focus and consentration did not always seem to be 100 %...as an NFL prospect, this guy has a pretty impressive upside but he has not played any competitive football for over two years and he has a serious knee surgery in his past...he is somewhat a typical Miami player, in that he is very cocky and confident which may or may not play well in an NFL training camp......this is a difficult guy to project because many NFL teams will take him off their boards, while others will extensively interview him and do enough background work to see if he is worth the risk...he does have developmental qualities but he must keep his act clean to have a serious chance of making a roster.
