| Summary
Started his career for the Red Raiders as a QB, and then moved to WR before settling in at DC in 1996 and 1997....finished 1997 with 32 tackles and 2 Int. He is an outstanding athlete with a lot of potential and good overall movement skills. He is quicker than fast, but shows surprisingly good overall ball skills and reactions for his limited experience at DC. He has good hips and the ability to turn and run, although he may be a better range and zone player than m/m cover guy. He is fiesty and will mix it up and can at least be adequate in his run defense. He doesn't have great DC speed and may never become a premiere cover guy, but he is a good enough athlete and tough enough that there are some skills to develop, especially with the fact that he only has limited experience at the position. He is certainly worth a look, but he may be targeted for the developmental squad in his first year.
