| Summary
This guy is an outstanding college football player that will not measure out favorably in any particular area, but he is simply a guy that makes plays and is always around the football. He has some backround at DS on the college level, but he really earned his stripes as an OLB where he was a two year starter, and finished the 1997 season with 93 tackles, 15 TFL's and 4 sacks. He is an All Pac-Ten player and Pac-Ten Defensive Player of the Year. He is always around the football, he has great instincts and intellegence, and an uncanny feel for the game. He is a very mature and focused young man and will be successful off the field also. He gets by on his instincts and he takes great angles to the ball, and is rarely out of postion. He is obviously not big enough to be a full-time OLB on the NFL level and he may not have quite the AA and speed to convert to DS, but he is certainly worth a look. He could be an outstanding special teams performer and fill in in a nickle OLB role. This is one of those players that you throw out the numbers and simply select him in the draft or sign him as a free agent. He will be on some NFL roster on opening day.
