Summary

Sauter’s from Minnesota, was highly productive early in his career in passing offense, and was hot player going into senior year, but has cooled off. Has good size and intangibles, very smart, an instinctive player. Prototype pocket dropback QB. Does not have great speed or escape ability in the pocket. Arm strength is only adequate. will take a hit, but has really taken a beating behind college OL. Effective guy when he has protection, has some qualities that may get him drafted late. Adq. ability to read defenses and make right decisions, but doesn’t make anything magical happen.
