| Summary
He is a very smooth and athletic WR, and combines outstanding size and speed, which gives him a huge upside entering the NFL.. He has been compared to ex-Virginia great Herman Moore, but Crowell has not had the supporting cast, or a QB that can get him the ball, which has made the last two years very frustrating for him. He is an excellent deep threat, is tough to defend in the red zone, and he has the ability to go up and make the tough catch and gain some yards after the reception. Because he is so smooth, he has sneaky at deep speed, and he shows good hands and good routes. He will be a guy that will test well in his individual workouts, but he must catch the ball well and look like an accomplished receiver, because of a lack of great production at Virginia. He is the prototype of today’s NFL WR, and he should be drafted high.
