Summary

Junior that was somewhat surprise entry into the NFL draft, however, age is a factor as he has been on a Mormon mission. He has been a two year starter at OT since returning from his mission and, interestingly, he is already deputy sheriff in the State of Utah. He is a highly focused and mature young man that plays with good intelligence and instincts. As expected, he has been well schooled in the passing game and knows all the intricacies of pass blocking. In addition to being a big body, he has long arms and he does a good job with separation and he makes it very difficult for pass rushers to get around him. He has good lock on qualities in the run game and has enough size to engulf defenders when he can get to them. He is not a clumsy guy and does a nice job of staying on his feet and shows pretty good mirror and slide for a big man. He is not a real pretty player. Because of his height, he is not a natural knee bender and does not always look explosive or play with leverage, but he still has enough size to get the job done and he is rarely over matched physically. He does not have the AA and range to play LOT, but he should be a natural fit at ROT. He should have a good up side and continue to improve, even though he's already 24 years of age. He is not a finished product, but he has enough qualities to be every intriguing developmental type project and he could be drafted a little higher than many expect.
