Has been a reserve for most of his career, filling in at ROT and OG. Had a solid '97 season as a starter at OC. He has a strong track background as a shot putter and discus thrower and, as a result, he is pretty athletic and agile for a big man. He has a perception of being a strong player, but he doesn't always play that way on film. He is not dominating at the point of attack and he cannot be considered a power player. He has good AA numbers and he may be a better athlete than football player. He is not regarded as a real tenacious type guy and he doesn't always finish his blocks. He has too much ability to have had a mediocre type career and it is possible that when he gets to the next level, the light will come on. His numbers are certainly intriguing enough to take a shot at, but unless he shows improvement, he may be somewhat of a teaser.
