Summary

Although he did not work out at the combine, he is considered an excellent athlete that is a little short for a DS, but he has pretty good overall size. He is a good zone player that has excellent range and can cover a lot of ground. He looks athletic in space and has enough m/m ability to match up well for a DS. He has good hips and is fairly fluid in his turns, and he gives the DS position some good overall athleticism. He is not good enough to cover a quality WR, but can certainly match up on a TE or RB and he is comfortable in zone situations. He is not a real physical DS and needs to become more consistent as a tackler and is somewhat of a drag down type, but has the ability to get better and isn't necessarily a liability vs. the run. He is not a big explosive hitter, but he does play pretty well under control. He will need to continue to improve his skills and become a little more consistent, but he has enough AA and size to make him a nice selection in the 2nd tier of DSs.
