| Summary
Blessed with the body of a linebacker (which he played earlier in his career), and the moves and agility of a much smaller back, he is the most complete “big back” in the draft.. He got off to a little bit of a slow start, but came on strong in the stretch run of the season, and was a dominating player in the tough Big Ten. He plays well in big games, and combines excellent power with good overall run skills...He has good quickness and feet.. He shows some avoid, but not a real fancy type RB...More of a north and south type that likes to break tackles and run over people. Tough to bring down in the open field. Has enough speed to bounce it to the outside, and has a natural feel for the position. Surprisingly soft hands out of the backfield for a big back, and is very competitive and tough in all situations.. Career was marred by suspension for Penn State bowl game, because of dealings with an agent, but don’t think it will affect his draft status.. Will need to remain focused throughout the Spring and have good workouts, and if he does, he should be a lock for the top ten and could go as high as #5.
