Summary

He is a big WR that had a lot of flash earlier in his career but seems to have slowed down on NFL charts...he finished 1997 with 43 catches for 651 yds, and 5 TDs, but he has never really reached his predicted potential...he did not have a great 40 time at the combine (ran in the 4.57 area), but he does have outstanding leaping abililty and good quickness for a big man...he is fairly explosive for his size and he is a big target...he has big play ability and can flash on the deep ball and will excite at times...he can run away from most DBs and he is a threat after the catch because of his size...he does play a little faster than his times indicate...however, he is a very up and down player, just when you think he is an outstanding receiver, he will drop some easy balls...it is difficult to tell whether it is a lack of concentration or if he lacks good hands...he may be one of those WRs that builds speed as he goes as he does not show alot of initial quickness and explosion...he has a lot of natural ability and if his problems are in the area of concentration and he can remedy this on the NFL level, he could be a very nice pick that could fall in the sleeper category...it would be interesting to see if he is a guy with a huge upside or another “teaser” type....
