Summary

He really turned some heads at INDY with an outstanding overall workout, running the 40 in 4.42 and also posting strong numbers on his Vj and BJ...he has a great background in track and field as top sprinter and has also been productive on the Oregon track team, running a 10.23 -100 meters and a 20.39 -200 meters...he is the classic track guy playing football...he has juggled both sports most of his career but concentrated on football in 1997 and had his best year catches 50 passes for 903 yds. and 6 TDs, and also returned punts and kick-offs very successfully...he obviously has great AA and speed and also shows outstanding quickness and explosion off the ball...he is not just a straight line athlete as many track guys are, he has good COD and he has improved each year in his route awareness, although he still needs refinement coming in and out of his cuts...like alot of speed guys, he thinks he can win every battle by “out-running” a DB and he needs to work on his techniques a little more...he has adequate hands that have gotten better but he is still not a great snatch guy that will make the circus catch...he will make some big plays but he will also drop some passes but this is an area that he can improve upon...his return ability makes him a very versatile player...he is not a big and physical guy, but there is so much speed and AA that he has alot of upside, and he has made enough progress in the last year to convince several NFL teams that he can become a polished WR in the NFL...this guy will get a long look and maybe even a surprise pick on draft day even though it may take him a year to really develop...
