A total of 41 members of the Green Bay Packers and five players from the Denver Broncos have played for past Super Bowl winners.

The following are the players:

Green Bay Packers

Don Beebe, WR -- Reserve receiver and a solid special teams player for the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Also a member of the Buffalo Bills' four Super Bowl teams in the 1990's.

Edgar Bennett, RB -- Starting halfback for the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in the preseason opener and was placed on injured reserve.

Robert Brooks, WR -- Suffered season-ending torn ACL in right knee in Packers' seventh game of the 1996 season. Placed on injured reserve on October 26th. Made full recovery and back as a starter.

Gilbert Brown, NT -- Starting nose tackle on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Leroy Butler, SS -- Starting strong safety on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Mark Chmura, TE -- Starting tight end on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Chris Darkins, RB -- Spent entire rookie season on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Third-string halfback.

Jeff Dellenbach, C -- Reserve center on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Earl Dotson, RT -- Starting right tackle on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Santana Dotson, DT -- Starting defensive tackle on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Doug Evans, RCB -- Starting right cornerback on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Brett Favre, QB -- Starting quarterback on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Attempting to become only the eighth QB to win two or more Super Bowls.

Antonio Freeman, QB -- Starting wide receiver on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Bernardo Harris, MLB -- Third-string middle linebacker on Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Emerged as the starter in 1997.

William Henderson, FB -- Starting fullback on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Craig Hentrich, P -- Starting punter on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Darius Holland, DT -- Reserve defensive tackle on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Lamont Hollinquest, LB -- Reserve outside linebacker on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Travis Jervey, RB -- Reserve running back on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

George Koonce, MLB -- Started all 16 regular season games and the divisional playoff at middle linebacker for the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Koonce tore the ACL in his right knee in the divisional playoff and missed the remainder of the postseason. Backup middle linebacker to Bernardo Harris.

Bob Kuberski, DT -- Reserve defensive tackle on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Dorsey Levens, RB -- Versatile running back who alternated between halfback and fullback for the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Emerged as the starting halfback after Edgar Bennett suffered season-ending injury in preseason.

Derrick Mayes, WR -- Fifth wide receiver on Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. The team's third receiver in 1997.

Keith McKenzie, DE -- Reserve defensive end and linebacker for the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

John Michels, LT -- Backup left tackle on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Moved in as the starter this season, but was supplanted by rookie Ross Verba.

Terry Mickens, WR -- Fourth receiver on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Roderick Mullen, CB/S -- Third-string cornerback and safety on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Craig Newsome, LCB -- Starting left corner on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Suffered season-ending knee injury in 1997 season opener and placed on injured reserve.

Doug Pederson, QB -- Third-string quarterback on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Remains third-string.

Mike Prior, S -- Nickel back and backup at both safety positions on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Marco Rivera, OG -- Third-string guard on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Eugene Robinson, FS -- Starting free safety on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Aaron Taylor, LG -- Starting left guard on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Jeff Thomason, TE -- Third tight end on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. The backup tight end in 1997.

Adam Timmerman, RG -- Starting right guard on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Reggie White, LE -- Starting left end on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Bruce Wilkerson, T -- Starting left tackle on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Backup at both tackle positions in 1997.

Gabe Wilkins, RE -- Backup right end to Sean Jones on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Promoted to starting right end in 1997.

Brian Williams, RLB -- Starting right outside linebacker on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Tyrone Williams, LCB -- Primary backup at both corner positions on the Packers' Super Bowl XXXI champions. Became starting left cornerback in 1997 after Craig Newsome suffered season-ending injury in opener.

Frank Winters, C -- Starting center on the Packers Super Bowl XXXI champions.

Denver Broncos

Dedrick Dodge, S -- Backup safety was a member of the San Francisco 49ers' Super Bowl champions after the 1994 season.

Ed McCaffrey, WR -- The fourth wide receiver on the San Francisco 49ers' Super Bowl champion after the 1994 season.

Tim McKyer, CB -- Played on San Francisco 49ers' back-to-back Super Bowl-winning teams after the 1988 and 1989 seasons. A starting left corner for the Niners in Super Bowl XXIII and a reserve in Super Bowl XXIV. A backup at right corner to Darrien Gordon for the Broncos.

Bill Romanowski, OLB -- Played on San Francisco 49ers' back-to-back Super Bowl-winning teams after the 1988 and 1989 seasons. Served as a reserve for Keena Turner at right outside linebacker. Starting strong side linebacker for the Broncos.

Mark Schlereth, LG -- A starting left guard for the Washington Redskins team that crushed Denver in Super Bowl XXII at San Diego 10 years ago. A starter at left guard for the Broncos.

Note -- QB John Elway, FS Steve Atwater and SS Tyrone Braxton are the only remaining members from Denver's last Super Bowl team in January of 1990. Elway is 0-3 in Super Bowls.
